Like most start-up partnerships, 91BC was founded by friends. Doug MacSween and Scott Ferguson met whist studying in Glasgow in 1991 and have maintained a strong friendship ever since. In recent years, Doug and Scott have managed many complete renovations and had more than a few heated debates with factors along the way. Common sense told them that the right idea was to build a team from their extensive network of contractors and launch a modern, effective property management service. From that "lightbulb" moment, 91BC Property Services Ltd was born.

Doug is Commercial Director of 91BC Property Services. His key responsibilities are to manage the administrative, financial, legal, compliance, marketing and communications, and partnerships aspects of the business. After a successful career in industry culminating in several senior leadership roles, Doug formed 91BC Property Services with Scott to complement their existing property development business.

Scott Ferguson

Technical Director and founding partner

Scott manages our network of contracted suppliers and oversees all operational activity. His strengths lie in his knowledge of construction/renovation methods and the associated costs. He has extensive experience of construction projects, overseeing multi trade workforces, and limiting problems through careful planning and proper scheduling.

Loves: his dog, mountaintops, campervans.

Craig Bruce

IT Director and partner

Craig is our IT director and is responsible for our web site and our Community portal. Security of our customer data is his top priority and he ensures that we only process and store the minimum required to run our portal. He drives our risk and issue management and also maintains our business continuity plan. He has over 20 years’ experience in the IT sector managing teams that deliver technology projects and support services.

Having over ten years’ experience in the property management sector, Paul is responsible for managing the Service Delivery Team's activity – from the delivery of maintenance works, to the initiation, planning and delivery of major projects through liaising with customers, contractors and service providers, to deliver them on time and to specification.

Senior Property Manager

Hannah has been working in property management for several years. Her previous role was in property letting where she would ensure both landlord and tenant expectations were met by proactively addressing even the smallest issues at the earliest opportunity. She's passionate about getting things right first time and will always investigate all the available options and choose the best one. She leads the team with her wealth of experience and positive attitude.

Lauren has vast experience in customer facing roles and putting the customer first is at the heart of everything she does. She's not happy if they're not happy and she isn't heading home until she has sorted the problem. Lauren has frequently been complimented on her dedication to helping customers out of hours, going that extra mile.

Ally has a wealth of client facing experience, gained from working in multiple sectors over the past decade. Ally’s approach to address each job as if it were for his own property provides an extra layer of attention and care. He strives to ensure that all jobs are completed to 91BC’s high standard and that each and every customer is happy with the end result.

Chris is one of 91BC’s many success stories. Having recently been promoted into the role of Property Manager, he is flourishing. Chris comes from a manufacturing background with a range of studies in different engineering disciplines. He has a knack of seeing where problems are, and resolving them, without fuss. He is our secret weapon against property issues, large or small.

Frontline Customer Services

Isla is front line customer support and makes sure all incoming enquiries get assigned to the appropriate person. She supports the property managers in many aspects of their work. If you’d like to have a conversation with 91BC in Gaelic, Isla is your girl – she is a fluent speaker. If you like her work, you can call in and tell that to her dad!

Dom Townsend

Dom joined us with a wealth of project management experience gained at large corporates, predominantly in the IT sector. Prior to 91BC, Dom managed a range of business process improvements for companies like 91BC, taking further steps into geographical and financial growth. Dom has a recent background in our client services team, so don’t be alarmed if he picks up the phone and helps with some property maintenance jobs too.

Finance Controller

Francesco is responsible for the management of billing, payments and other financial obligations on behalf of our customers and suppliers. He is the go-to for all enquiries queries relating to finance matters, including supplier invoices, insurance payments, customer payments, account balances and share apportionment.

Loves: being an Italian in Scotland, AC Milan, balance sheets.

Chiara Matzutzi

Finance Administrator

Chiara is responsible for the management of the finance inbox and maintaining the fiscal relationship with our main contractors. She also deals with utility suppliers and processing the related billing. She has a background in our client services team so can work in any part of the business.

Finance Administrator

Colin is responsible for validating all contractor invoices and ensuring they are recharged correctly to customers. Colin is also our insurance expert, making sure properties are covered with the right insurance, at the right price.

Ian Boyle

Ian Boyle

Repairs and Maintenance Foreman

Ian is responsible for delivery of routine and adhoc maintenance services. He is certified in a variety of disciplines and of course is adequately insured to conduct works at your property. He has 30 years’ experience in buildings management and repair and if there is a tool needed for a job, Ian will have it. He also knows his way around a roll and square.

Client Services Executive

Susan is responsible for the onboarding of new customers, land registry process, coordination and qualification of communal buildings insurance and associated administration to allow us to launch services on time and ready to deliver.

Non-Executive Finance Director

John has joined the 91BC in a Non-Executive capacity, with the aim of assisting the team in the delivery of long term, stable growth. John brings over 20 years’ experience of assisting a range of high growth SMEs with their specific corporate finance needs, coupled with extensive business advisory services.
