91BC is a property factoring company based in Glasgow. Our mission is to provide a responsive, agile, dynamic, customer-collaborative property factoring service which homeowners and residents want to engage with.

Our residential and commercial customers often need repairs done and as their appointed maintenance provider, 91BC facilitates those repairs. As a handyperson, you will require a broad range of craftsmanship and practical skills. The work can range from simple building maintenance to plumbing, basic electrical works, drainage and grounds maintenance.

Required experience:

Customer service is at the heart of 91BC’s charter. As such, the successful candidate(s) will be comfortable in front of the customer and able to answer their questions confidently. In addition, you will have.

  • Strong ability to resolve problems and adhere to health and safety guidelines
  • Ability to work harmoniously with other contractors or maintenance workers
  • Ability to work under pressure and with flexibility
  • A resourceful and self-motivated approach
  • Ability to work with machinery or moving heavy equipment
  • Able to resolve complaints quickly and efficiently
  • All connected admin – updating internal files/database
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • A clean, current UK driving licence

The role will involve a large variety of preventative and reactive maintenance, examples such as:

  • Maintaining lighting fixtures and fittings
  • Rewiring, changing fuses, junction boxes etc.
  • Minor plumbing and carpentry
  • Site clearance
  • Security and lock fitting
  • Garden/landscape installation and maintenance
  • Footpath maintenance
  • Gutter Maintenance
  • Basic decorating
  • Fencing

Career progression, salary and benefits.

The successful candidate can expect to earn a competitive salary based on a standard working week of 37.5 hours. Overtime is paid at time + one half. A vehicle will also be provided. Holiday entitlement is 30 days annual leave plus public holidays.

The role will enable a broad experience of building maintenance and repair, which could lead to further progression within the 91BC organisation.

Client Services Administrator

We are looking to recruit an individual self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and ability to work well in a high pressured environment.

They must also be able to prioritise and take ownership of a busy and demanding workload for across a portfolio of clients.

Key duties include:

  • Reactive client service. Communication skills must be to an excellent standard, both in the written and spoken word.
  • Issue resolution and closed-loop reporting.
  • Liaising with internal and external contacts to resolve client issues with regards to property maintenance, building services and account queries.
  • Building strong relationships with the virtual team, including contractors and suppliers, managing site visit objectives and outcomes.
  • Keeping clients fully updated via web, telephone and face to face meetings.
  • Understanding technical aspects of property management and communicating effectively to clients.
  • All connected admin – updating internal files/database.
  • Taking payments by phone and on-line and liaise closely with in-house finance department.
  • Attention to detail and ability to organise own workload is key.
